FAQ’s

We provided this section so that you can easily find answers without having to contact us and wait for our response.  Below is a list of frequently asked questions that we have been asked over time.  If there are additional questions that we have not answered here, please leave a comment below and we will endeavour to post additional answers as they appear.

1. Why can’t I access the sponsored jobs?

Only Premium Member s can access sponsored jobs. To become a Premium Member you will need to upgrade your current membership via PayPal. Visit membership options page to upgrade now.

2. How do I know that signing up as a Premium Member will be value for money?

The best way to find out whether you will value Sponsorship Australia is to sign up as a Premium Member and take advantage of the 7 day trial period to navigate through the site and determine whether it is worth paying the monthly membership fee for.  If you are unsatisfied with the site, you can cancel at any time via your PayPal account.

3. I am a Free Member. How do I upgrade to Premium Membership?

You can upgrade to Premium Membership at any time by visiting the Membership Options page, and clicking on the PayPal button at the bottom.

If you are not automatically upgraded please see FAQ 4 below.

4. I am a Premium Member, but I still cannot access the jobs and other bonuses. What am I doing wrong?

You’re doing nothing wrong.  Sometimes when a member upgrades their membership to Premium, especially if their PayPal account is in a different name or has a different email, Sponsorship Australia does not recognise the connection.  Do not be concerned though, as we check upgrades every few hours and if we notice this happening with your profile, we will manually upgrade your account so that you can access the Premium Members section.  You will be notified as soon as we have upgraded your account so that you are aware that you are now able to log in.

5. How can I receive job alerts?

When you sign up to SponsorshipAustralia.net, as part of the process you have to complete a form with your details, such as your name and your occupation.  These details go into our database and whenever our partners have a vacancy that matches your listed occupation, we will contact you directly.

You will also receive a notification whenever we have posted new “non-partner” vacancies on the site so that you can review these jobs and see whether there is anything that matches your background.

6. I have received an alert that there is a vacancy that matches my background, but I am just a Free Member.  How can I apply for this vacancy?

To apply for the vacancy, you will need to upgrade your membership to Premium.  You can do so by clicking here.

7. I’ve applied for one of the Partner Vacancies and have not heard anything back.  Why?

We receive many applications on a daily basis and it is just not feasible to respond to everyone.  For that reason, we only respond to those who are successful.

8. I want to speak with someone about migrating to Australia with sponsorship.  Who can I talk to about this?

If you require a professional migration assessment or professional migration advice, you can book a consultation with one of our Registered Australian Migration Agents by clicking here.  We only associate with Australian migration agents who are registered with MARA.  We recommend that when seeking Australian migration advice, that you always use an agent who is registered with MARA.

If you would like to speak to Australia’s Emigration Job Search Strategist, Nadine Myers; unfortunately, due to the heavy volume of emails that are received, Ms Myers does not have time to respond individually to everyone.  However, if you have a question or comment, feel free to post it on the site so that when Ms Myers answers your questions, the answers will help other people who have the same questions.

9. Do you provide other services that will assist me to find sponsorship in Australia?

Yes.  We work in conjunction with Nab That Job in Australia, and you will find a full list of job sponsorship services by clicking here.

10. I am from a country that is not connected with PayPal. Is there another way that I can pay for Premium Membership?

Yes.  We have many members from all over the world whom we have to be flexible with for payment.  Some options include:

Signing up to a 6 month or 12 month subscription, and paying via bank transfer. This option makes sense if the only way you can make payment is via a bank transfer.  Since there are usually heavy fees involved with making a bank transfer, often being more than the cost of one month’s membership; we have allowed for a member to sign up for a longer subscription so that it is more cost effective for them.  You can enquire about this option through our Contact Us form.

Some of our members have friends or family in a PayPal supporting country, or in Australia; and are therefore able to arrange payment via their contact. For banking transfer or accepting payment from friends and/or family, please enquire via our Contact Us form.

11. I have found employer sponsorship in Australia and now wish to cancel my monthly subscription with SponsorshipAustralia.net.  How do I do this?

You can easily cancel your subscription at any time via your PayPal account.

12. I am in Australia and want to come and see you.  Where is your office located?

Due to the nature of Sponsorship Australia being one that services people from other countries, it is not feasible to have an office in one location.  Further, Ms Myers travels a lot, visiting countries who have a high volume of people intersted in migrating to Australia; such as South Africa, UK, Ireland and Canada.  Ms Myers therefore works virtually and does not have a permanent office.

However, the registered office for Sponsorship Australia is:

2/9 Carrabeen Drive, Old Bar, NSW 2430 Australia

13. Is there a telephone number I can call to speak with someone?

No.  Again, due to the nature of Sponsorship Australia being one that services people from other countries; and being that Ms Myers, the Managing Director, is constantly travelling; it is very difficult for Ms Myers to be available by telephone.  It is therefore recommended that if you have any questions or queries, that you leave a comment on the site, or send your message via the Contact Us form.

Only exceptional cases, Premium Members who are being considered for Partner Vacancies, and members who have engaged Nab That Job in Australia’s services for their job sponsorship search are able to access Ms Myers by telephone.

14. What is the difference between “Australian Sponsored Job Listings” and “Our Partners’ Vacancies”?

Australian Sponsored Job Listings are the jobs that we have found for you on the various job search websites out there, and put them all in one place so that you can save time when looking for sponsored jobs.

Our Partners’ Vacancies are jobs that our recruitment partners in Australia are looking to fill, and have come to us as they know that all the people who sign up to Sponsorship Australia are skilled professionals seeking sponsored employment in Australia.  With these Partner Vacancies, we match your CVs with their requirements and send through your CV with our recommendation for interview.

    Thanks for your reply.

I was greatly excited when finding your site on the youtube.
But all contents especially related to job, I can find from other job websites.
Frankly I expected you to provide more detailed and more useful information
    About sponsor and RSMS visa.
Unfortunately I can find all those in formations from other sites.
That are the reason why I want to refund.
    THANKS FOR LISTENING MY COMPLIANT.

I have worked as a Cisco Network Engineer for 3 years as well as 5 years working in ICT. My job is not on the Australian Skills list (only Telecommunications Engineer is on there). I’ve already been told I would need employer sponsorship but can I get this even if my job is not on the skills list? Also, do you know of any states in Australia that require this particular job? Thank you
