Hi Sam,
Your friend will first need to determine whether she qualifies for sponsorship in Australia – where did she get her nursing certificate? Was it a bridging course to qualify her to work in Australia as a registered nurse? If not, we encourage her to seek advice from a Registered Australian Migration Agent who can help her find out what she needs to do to qualify for sponsorship in Australia. Nab That Job in Australia! offers this service for AU$97. Click here to learn more.
There is a new website being developed, called Australia Nursing, that will soon be full of resources to assist international nurses to migrate to Australia.
We hope this information helps your friend.

Hi Darpan,
I believe your best chance for finding a sponsor in Australia as a registered nurse is after you have gained 2-5 years experience, and if at least two years of that experience has been gained in a speciality area. There is just too much competition in Australia for general nurses that even general registered nurses with loads of experience are having trouble finding employment.
Keep an eye on the new website, Australia Nursing, as it will offer more tips like this soon.
All the best!
