It is still possible to find work when applying for jobs in Australia from your home country, particularly if you have sought after skills. For example, if you have around 10 years specialised experience in engineering.

If you have less specialised experience, or less years experience, the competition for work is tighter and therefore, it can be harder to find work. This is when it is best to plan a trip to Australia as part of your job search.
