    LEO JK says:

    Hi there everyone,
My name is Leo, and I am an electrical engineer from United Kingdom.
Me and my wife are planning to relocate to Australia on the grounds of better weather.
Does anyone know any company who really sponsors and helps with invitation? Because we already attended overseas expo in London, and everyone promised us they will call us once they are back in Australia. And that our qualifications are so in demand, that it will take 3 months for us to move to Australia.
However, 6 months already passed, and we never received a single call.
So, please tell me if there is such a thing as sponsorship from Australia, or these guys are just making easy money with those expos.
Would be really thankful for any help.
    Kind regards
    Leo ;)

    Hi Nadine
I have a B.Comm degree as well as a Marketing Diploma. I also have a few Graphic Design courses behind my name which includes Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign and Dreamweaver. I have been working at a Consulting Engineering Firm since 2002 doing marketing and in 2009 I become their Marketing co-ordinator and Designer. What are my chances in obtaining sponsorship? (I am willing to pay the company that sponsors me back in full, and would not hold them responsible for any relocation costs).
    Your assistance would be appreciated.
    Warm regards,
    Anneke

Hi Lee – although we haven’t seen many jobs offering employer sponsorship for plasters, our recruitment partners sometimes request experienced plasters, so there are Australian employees out there willing to sponsor. Like my recommendation to Chris, if you sell yourself effectively and hit all the right targets you will have a good chance of finding something. We have a new ePackage coming out in the next week that will give you all of the strategies that have helped others to gain sponsored jobs in Australia. Keep an eye out for this as it may be just what you need to find an employer sponsor in Australia.

    All the best!

Hi Marianne – unfortunately we do not know of any success stories in the garment industry; as it isn’t such a big industry in Australia. Customer service positions offering sponsorship in Australia are also very scarce since they are not positions that are in demand – even if one has management experience in this area. We do not want you to lose hope though, as there may be other options for you, such as studying in Australia. It may be worth doing some further research into this. The Australian Immigration site should be helpful in that regard. Click here to visit.

    All the best!

    Hi,

Im Marianne, a Filipina and currently staying in Cambodia for more than 2 years now. I am working as a Merchandiser in a garment factory, and I was planning to leap another stage in my career, so I would like to take chance in working in Australia, so I could support my family, asmy income today really is’nt enough to support our needs.

I also got a 3 years experience in Customer Service, way back inthe Philippines. I believe that you could find me a sponsor so I may be able to work in Australia in the near future.

    Thanks and more power!
